It is dangerous for Penang Malays to use PAP Singapore as a model.
For almost 50 years of independent, the relative economic level of Malays amongst the Singaporeans are still very low.
There were no Malay billionaires. The Malays were a majority in Singapore, if the government really wants to be fair, they should be more tolerant and open up 1 Million citizenships to Indonesian natives instead of China/Taiwan/HK/Macau Chinese, India Indian.

I am sure there are many Indonesians or Malaysians Malays who can qualify.

I always wonder why the newer migrants were always either from India or China?

Satu poin yang menarik. Kenapa tak Singapura menawarkan kerakyatan ke 1juta bangsa Indon. Boleh tenguk bangsa mana yang lebih bersikap toleransi.
